Dear PhD Students,
We’re excited to invite you to a Families, Life Course, and Generations Research Centre (FLaG) Postgraduate Research (PGR) get-together! This is a great opportunity to meet other PhD students within the FLaG community, share research interests, and explore potential connections across our projects. Food will be provided, making it a casual and welcoming event for everyone.
Event Details:
Date: Wednesday, 20th November
Time: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Location: SR B.11, Parkinson Building
About the Event:
The gathering will allow everyone to introduce themselves and share a brief overview of their research interests—especially as they relate to FLaG’s core themes of family, life course, youth, education, inequalities, and generations. Presentations are very informal, so feel free to simply speak about your project in a way that feels comfortable.
RSVP & Participation:
Please RSVP by registering through the link and sharing a brief 1–2 line description of your research area. We’ll use these to put together a running order for introductions, grouping presentations by themes where possible: https://forms.office.com/e/s3QM8th8h1
We hope you can take part and jointly make the event a success. Please also share this invite with other PGR friends who may be interested and share common aspirations.  They need to RSVP as above.
This event is organized jointly by Shariq Waheed and Rose Deacon and we’re looking forward to connecting with all of you as we coordinate the event. Feel free to reach out with any questions!
Thank you and look forward to meeting then.
