PhD Research roundtable / workshop

Part 1: presentation (3 to 3.30pm)

Dr Paula Pustulka and Marta Buler, Youth Research Centre, Warsaw
Paula and Marta are interested in research relating to youth and transition and seeking to learn more about our interests in the SSP. They will briefly describe their work in this area and introduce their study "Transition to motherhood across three generations of Poles. Intergenerational longitudinal study" (more details here: http://youth.swps.pl/gemtra/?lang=en

Part 2: PhD presentations and roundtable discussion (3.30 – 4.20pm)

Several PhD students in SSP are doing research relating to aspects of young lives (eg youth in transition; young migrants; education to work transitions; in the UK and internationally). If you are working in these or related areas please come and please consider talking informally for a few minutes about your research interests. If you are just generally interested you are also more than welcome.

The visitors are not here for long but this will be a nice opportunity to learn a little about each others’ work and, if relevant, follow up with the visitors while they are here.
